What is included in the class?
What you learn in coaching:
1. Using your camera correctly
We go through all important functions — manual settings, menus, buttons.
You'll then know exactly which settings you should use and when to get the most out of your camera.
2. Master the exposure triangle: ISO, aperture & shutter speed
* ISO: Set correctly so that your images don't look too noisy
* Aperture: Creative control over depth of field
* Shutter speed: Capture or freeze movements — as you wish
3. Image composition & composition
A strong photo is not only created through good technology.
I'll show you how to:
* use the rule of thirds
* use the golden ratio
* work specifically with depth of field to highlight your subjects
4. Creative work & perspective
We experiment with different perspectives, lighting conditions and design ideas — so that your pictures don't get boring, but tell stories.

What you’ll do in the class
This is how your coaching works:
1. Goal check: We discuss what you expect from coaching: Which topics are of particular interest to you? What do you really want to be able to do afterwards?
2. Theory explained in a nutshell: camera settings, exposure triangle, image layout — everything understandable & tailored to your level.
- How to use the camera's manual mode (M)
- What the camera's Quick Menu, ISO, aperture and shutter speed are there for and how you use them.
- focal lengths and how to use different lenses for the camera.
- Partial automation and what is the difference between RAW and JPG.
- How to find and capture the perfect photo opportunity.
- You'll learn more about editing and good lines.
3. long practical phase outside: We go outside or to a location of your choice. You're implementing what we've discussed.
.4. Reflection & outlook: At the end, we'll look at your results, I'll show you ways to improve, and you'll get specific tips on how to continue practicing.
