Losing weight without sacrificing, that's it!
I thought to myself, and soon realized that it wasn't just me alone when I signed up to a large weight-loss community.
There I quickly got lots of inspiration for healthy recipes with which I could prepare breads and cakes that tasted like from my favorite bakery, but were not noticeable on my scale.
That's how I learned a lot about foods, their combinations and the associated nutritional effects. I wanted to know which ingredient did what.
I started experimenting, combining this with that. I discarded some results discreetly in the trash can. I shared others that I enjoyed in the weight loss community and on Instagram.
My posts were regularly met with a great response. And I was pleased that I was not alone, that so many felt the same way I did.
The desire not to have to forego enjoyment by changing my diet is what connects me.
As a result, the community's appeal grew louder and louder that I should publish my growing collection of recipes in book form.
And so I naively thought to myself in the summer of 2018: “Why not? It's definitely fun! “
My own baking book, a really nice and fulfilling project. And so whenever the children were sleeping and the man was parked in front of the television, I tinkered with my book.
It was finished in fall — and Markus (my husband) and I felt extremely brave when we had 1,000 copies printed. They would be sold in some way over the next few years. We were still thinking very naively.
And then we were literally overwhelmed by reality.
