My interest in natural coloring began in 2012 when I traveled to Maumere, Indonesia, for an internship. There I lived for six months with a wonderful family in a women's cooperative that made fabrics with natural dyes. This experience had a profound impact on me. During the Corona pandemic, I was looking for meaningful employment and found joy in gardening. I started with herbs and tomatoes until I came across dye plants. This discovery brought back my passion for natural coloring and revived memories of my time in Indonesia.
