Frank & Schuster was founded in 1982 by the Frank family and the Schuster family and is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2022.

After the Schuster family left the company, the Frank family continued to run the company as an OHG.

Due to a lack of succession planning, Frank Hensel and Horst Römer took over the company in 2010 and continued to operate it under the new company name, FHR Tee Kaffee Gewürze GmbH, with the registered trademark Frank & Schuster.
