The Caipi-Colada Bar has been around since 1990 — a real bar with history, a heart and a warm Caribbean atmosphere in the middle of Hamburg.
I am Michael Antonio Coldewey and I come from the international bar and hotel world. I worked in classic hotel bars for many years and later accompanied guests from all over the world on cruise ships. I traveled to the Caribbean, the USA, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, among others.
On these trips, I not only mixed cocktails, but also gave many tastings and cocktail classes — from rum, whiskey and tequila to margaritas, mojitos, martinis and classic drinks. I am bringing exactly this experience to my courses at the Caipi-Colada Bar today.
It is important to me that a cocktail course does not look dry or stiff. The guests should have fun, stand behind the counter themselves, try good cocktails and really take something away at the end: simple professional tips, real bar knowledge and a better sense of what makes a good drink.
The Caipi-Colada Bar is the perfect place for this: not a cold training location, but a lively bar with Caribbean flair, music, atmosphere and a personal atmosphere.
