Who are you and what is your mission? How did you discover your passion?

I'm Melanie Eckl-Kerber, artist, entrepreneur and founder of Art Adventure. I founded Art Adventure in 2019 because I want to show people that art doesn't have to be complicated, perfect, or just for particularly talented people.

My mission is to get people out of everyday life, give them space for creativity and create unforgettable experiences together. For us, it's not about painting the “perfect” picture. It's about letting go, trying out new things, laughing together and simply letting off steam with color.

My passion for creative experiences was born precisely from this: from the conviction that creativity is in everyone — even in those who say of themselves: “I can't paint at all.” These people in particular often surprise themselves at our workshops and end up going home with a very personal work of art.

Today, there is Art Adventure with its own studios in Vienna, Linz and Graz as well as with our home base in Lower Austria. Together with my team, we have already implemented hundreds of workshops and events — from action painting to birthdays and stag parties to creative group events.

Location: What does your location look like and what is it equipped with? How many people can you accommodate in your location?

Our art adventure locations are creative experience spaces where things can definitely be a bit more colorful and wild. The focus is on a relaxed atmosphere in which you can let off steam creatively without fear of blobbing or pressure to perform.

Everything is ready for our action painting experiences: canvases or painting cloths, paints, brushes, rollers, spatulas, spray guns and many other creative tools. This also includes protective clothing — after all, we allow paint to end up where it wasn't planned.

We offer our experiences in our studios in Vienna, Linz and Graz. In addition, with our mobile concept, we can also reach selected desired locations and event locations.

The possible group size depends on the respective location and event format. There is just as much space for smaller private groups as for larger group events.

Courses and events: What makes your courses special?

Art Adventure doesn't focus on the perfect end result, but on the experience along the way.

Our action painting workshops are a mix of creativity, movement, fun, and a bit of controlled chaos. Instead of just working with classic brushes, spatulas, rollers, sponges, spray guns, fly swatters or even balloons filled with paint are used.

The special thing: You don't have to be able to paint. There is no pressure to perform and no previous knowledge is required. Our artists provide inspiration and guidance, while leaving plenty of room for their own creativity.

And in the end, there is not only a nice reminder of the day spent together, but also a piece of art you have designed yourself that you can take home with you.

Team events and private events: Do you offer private events and if so, why are your events unique for groups?

Yes! Art Adventure offers private events for groups of friends, birthdays, bachelor parties, and other special occasions.

Our concept is special for groups because you don't just do something together — you create something together. Action painting involves laughing, trying things out, spraying and sometimes really chewing around with paint. This automatically creates special moments and memories.

Depending on their wishes, each person can create their own work of art or the group can work together on a large picture. In the end, this creates something lasting that reminds us of the day we spent together.

This makes Art Adventure an experience that combines creativity and Gruppenspaß: less “I can't paint”, more “Wow, we did that together! “

And the best part: We take care of the material, the preparation and the instructions — the participants just have to be in a good mood and are ready for a creative adventure.
