How does this experience take place?
Such Roman migrations in full armor, armament and signs now make it clear that the life of the ancient legionaries was not as easy as was often imagined.
- Greeting by a Centurion in the “main camp”
- Introduction to Roman equipment and its handling
- Put on the equipment: sandals, tunic, tank, helmet, sword
- Walk about three to four kilometers in legionnaire equipment
- Break with refreshments and soft drinks
- Military exercises and defensive formations (turtle)
- Return to main camp and completion of the “Excavation of the Legion”
What is included?
- Intro to Roman military history
- Authentic replica equipment
- Guided march and team exercises
- Drink from the Römer Quelle if available
