About this class
During a wine tasting with cellar tour at Weingut Arnold, you will learn interesting facts about wine growing and aging in an entertaining and relaxed atmosphere and in direct exchange with the winemaker family and discover the different flavor variations of the various grape varieties. The Arnolds are members of the Association of German Prädikatsweingüter and work according to its strict environmental and quality criteria. They are happy to share their passion for wine with friendly visitors to their winery, which has existed since 1673. For wine tasting, which takes place on the terrace or in listed tasting rooms when the weather is nice, you can also book a small or large snack with ham and cheese variations.

What you’ll do in the class
After a welcome drink and a guided tour of the winery and our cellar, we taste different grape varieties in pairs with two glasses. The comparison makes it easy to taste the differences and individual taste components. We explain why some grape varieties are aged mildly and others are often dry, which are fruity or more mineral, and answer all your questions about wine. Fun shouldn't be neglected, because “happy people and good wine should always be together.”
