About this class
This taster pottery course focuses on the immediate experience with the material clay. You will learn the basic techniques for making a shaped vessel out of a lump of clay.

-2 towels that can get dirty.
-Comfortable clothes that can tolerate clay stains.
-Short nails are beneficial for working on the disc.
-What is very important: curiosity and good humor!
What is included in the class?

All material and fuel costs are already included in the course price.

We professionally shoot and rework your works.
-Glaze service:
Your pieces will be finished with a glaze of your choice after the scrub firing.
-Workpieces:
Three course pieces are included. If you want to produce more, we charge 10€ for each additional piece.
-Nerve food:
cookies, coffee, tea and water.

What you’ll do in the class
Your windshield experience:
The course introduces you to typical movement sequences step by step. The focus is not on perfection, but on learning how to feel for the material and how to rotate the disc.

So that you can fully concentrate on shooting, we take care of the subsequent completion of your pieces: - Post-processing:
We professionally process your up to 3 pieces. - Finishing:
After the first firing (scrub firing), we glaze your works with a glaze of your choice. - Finalization:
After the second fire, your unique pieces are finished and ready for use in everyday life.
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is suitable for all curious people who are in the mood for a new haptic experience. Absolutely no previous knowledge is required — the focus is on having fun trying things out.

For us, everything revolves around pottery — at the turntable and with construction technology. In our workshops, you work in small groups and in a personal atmosphere, where we really take time for you and guide you from the first lump of clay to your finished favorite piece.
