About this experience
In our basic salsa course, beginners can learn the basics to dance the hot characters and skills with a partner on international dance floors with lots of fun and joy.
Couples and singles can become part of us regardless of age, talent or language skills. We may teach in Spanish, Italian and English.
Our many years of experience will bring you quick results. The course involves laughing, dancing, “talking” and practicing. In our large community, you have many opportunities to implement what you have learned, come to parties, events or trips with us and get to know great new people as a result.
At the beginning, you will learn the basis of “Leading & Following”. You then dance simple combinations that invite you to more complex variations later on. You will soon be able to interpret the exciting and passionate salsa rhythms to your own ears.
Salsa means social dance, which means that respect, politeness, attention and positive cooperation are paramount.
How does this experience take place?
As soon as you have signed up for our course team, you will receive 90 minutes of lessons on 4 consecutive dates on Wednesday (6.11-27.11.24) and learn the 10 basics from which you can then conjure up great combinations.
You will learn the tact and basic step, posture, body movement, lady styling, and techniques of leading/following or twists.
The skills are practiced when you change partners regularly, unless you want to stay with your partner. With our great guest dancers, we ensure a balance between followers and leaders.
There is always a short break.
