- Weikersheim (approx. 30 minute stop): guided tour of Renaissance castle and original knights' hall, plus magnificent Baroque garden with over 70 historic statues in Versailles style — admission included
- Drive on to the picturesque Tauber Valley — past idyllic wine villages to Rothenburg ob der Tauber
- Rothenburg ob der Tauber (approx. 3 hours): Free time to explore the old town, half-timbered facades, city walls and charming alleys
- Return to Würzburg with optional exit at the residence or at the main train station — arrival at around 18:00
