About this class
Even the cult band Pink Floyd used the beauty of light refracting in glass as a design element in their album cover of “The Dark Side of the Moon” in 1973.
Glass continues to fascinate us in colorful forms and figures. The well-known artist Gerhard Richter, for example, used this design element to impressively design the “south transept window” of Cologne Cathedral.
The line between fascination and kitsch is sometimes quite narrow when it comes to glass art, but this is exactly what always makes creativity and artistic freedom so appealing.
Let yourself be captivated by the fascination of the “game of light”!
