About this class
From plate to paper! In the linoleum printing workshop, you carve your own motif into a linoleum board and then apply it to paper with printing ink. Each print becomes a small original — sometimes clear, sometimes experimental, always unique.
You don't need any ready-made ideas in your luggage. If you already have your own template: great! If not, we have plenty of motives and inspiration waiting for you. So you can relax and be sure that you'll go home with something nice in the end.
We not only print on DIN A5 paper, but also on post and folding cards. So perfect if you want to give away your works of art.
In the end, you go home with your own linoleum prints — guaranteed a very personal piece of art and maybe even the start of a new passion.

What to bring to the class
We have prepared everything on site, you don't need to prepare or bring anything with you.
If you already have initial ideas for your design, you can of course bring them along.
What is included in the class?
For a creative break, there are snacks from our lovely candy bar, and a welcome drink (with and without alcohol) and other drinks are also included.

What you’ll do in the class
First carving, then printing. After a short introduction and valuable tips from our course instructors, it's time to start. Carve your favorite motif on your own linoleum board. Our course instructor will show you what is important and what is important when it comes to linocutting. Still no ideas for a design? No problem — we have plenty of templates and inspiration on site.
After carving, it's time to print. Using different colors and papers, you can quickly create multiple versions of your design, all of which have their own unique character. Step by step, a small collection is growing that you can proudly take home with you.

You don't need any previous knowledge. We will show you all techniques and provide you with all the material.
