About this class
At the Children's Birthday Wood Workshop, children between the ages of 7 and 14 experience a creative day full of adventures. Together, the kids carve, dig, saw, grate and sand under guidanc…
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to tools and materials
- Joint work: carving, sawing, planing, rasping, filing, grinding, hammering, carving, engraving, notching
- Creative design with soapstone: Form, file and grind animals, amulets or fantasy creatures
- Working with clay: kneading, creating shapes and figures, burning the works of art on request (collection after approx. 4 weeks)
- Breaks with drinks and pastries (in winter by the fireplace)
- Optional: treasure hunt and/or bake stick bread at the fire bowl
- Final round and presentation of the works
