At the children's vacation sewing course in Dresden, your children learn the basics of sewing on a sewing machine in a playful way. From threading to forward and backward sewing to curves and corners — this course covers all the basics for a successful start. They practice together on initial projects such as bags, pillows or hats. In this way, the children not only develop their craft skills, but can also be proud of their first unique piece they have sewn themselves. Our goal is to introduce children to a new hobby with lots of fun and without being overwhelmed.

Tip: Stop by the shop beforehand and talk to us about your skills and projects. We want every child to complete their project and not set themselves up too much. “Stuffed animals” and whole pieces of clothing are often offered as “simple initial projects,” but are not suitable for children and beginners. The very small monsters or animals easily overwhelm children and are often not finished or completely different than imagined and frustrate.
