Porcelain casting workshop: design your own matcha set
In this 3-hour workshop, you will experience the fascinating technique of porcelain casting and design your own matcha set. Together, we pour three unique pieces: a matcha broom holder, a matcha bowl and a matcha cup.
Under professional guidance, you will learn the basics of porcelain casting. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about porcelain and get an overview of the various manufacturing processes and decoration techniques. With the techniques presented, you can give your matcha set your personal signature.
The end result is an individual, handmade ensemble that will accompany you during your tea ceremony.
Since drying and firing processes must be followed, you can pick up your finished fired porcelain pieces from the studio after approx. 2-4 weeks or have them sent to your home (subject to a fee).
Whether as a creative evening with friends or as a special gift — this workshop leaves nothing to be desired!
