What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and registration at the jumping ground in Hohenlockstedt near Hamburg.
- Detailed safety briefing by your tandem master. You will learn everything you need to know about jumping, the correct posture when jumping, during free fall, gliding and landing.
- You will then receive the professional rental equipment and will be securely connected to your tandem master.
- Together, you will set off on an approximately 20-minute climb to the jump height.
- Just before the jump, the plane door opens. The tandem master will decide which jump technique is right for you and will guide you safely off the plane.
- In free fall, you accelerate to around 200 km/h and enjoy around 25 to 55 seconds of pure adrenaline, depending on the jump height.
- Your tandem master then opens the parachute and the rapid fall turns into a smooth glide flight.
- During the approximately 5 to 8 minute long umbrella flight, you will enjoy the view of Hohenlockstedt and the Schleswig-Holstein countryside.
- Finally, you will land safely back at the jumping ground together.

Who is the class suitable for?
The tandem skydive is suitable for anyone who wants to realize their dream of skydiving without previous knowledge. Thanks to support from an experienced tandem master, the experience is also ideal for beginners.
Eligibility requirements:
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Participants under 18 years of age require consent from a parent or guardian
- Minimum body height: 1.40 m
- Maximum body weight: 90 kg including clothing and shoes
- Normal physical and mental condition
- If possible, people wearing glasses should wear small sports glasses or contact lenses
- No participation in asthma, acute herniated discs, diabetes, heart problems or comparable diseases
- Participation is not possible during pregnancy
