What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome to the jumping area in Gransee and registration.
- You will receive a detailed safety briefing from your experienced tandem master. You will learn everything you need to know about the jump process, the correct posture when jumping, during free fall, under a parachute and when landing.
- You will then be equipped with professional rental equipment and securely connected to your tandem master.
- Together, you get on the plane and fly to the jump height within about 20 minutes.
- Just before the jump, the plane door opens. Depending on the situation, the tandem master will decide on the type of jump and guide you safely off the plane.
- This is followed by free fall at a speed of around 200 km/h. Depending on the jump height, this unique experience lasts around 25 to 55 seconds.
- The tandem master then opens the parachute. The fast-paced fall turns into a smooth glide flight.
- During the approximately 5 to 8 minute long umbrella flight, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the Brandenburg countryside.
- Finally, you will land safely back at the jumping ground together.
Who is the class suitable for?
The tandem skydive is suitable for anyone who wants to make their dream of skydiving come true without previous knowledge. Thanks to support from an experienced tandem master, the experience is also ideal for beginners.
Eligibility requirements:
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Participants under 18 years of age require consent from a parent or guardian
- Minimum body height: 1.40 m
- Maximum body weight: 90 kg including clothing and shoes
- Normal physical and mental condition
- If possible, people wearing glasses should wear small sports glasses or contact lenses
- No participation in asthma, acute herniated discs, diabetes, heart problems or comparable diseases
- Participation is not possible during pregnancy
