About this class
Our 4-hour course covers basic riding techniques so that you are safe on the bike. Especially on an e-bike, you can reach higher speeds and the falls become more painful, which makes the right riding technique extremely important.
You can expect a wide range of driving techniques in our course:
- the correct basic position on the bike
- balance exercises
- Braking techniques
- Curve techniques
- Handling on steeper terrain
You will also learn how to use the technical functions of your e-bike, such as a retractable seatpost and much more.

- E-bike (MTB/city bike/trekking bike)
- bicycle helmet
- gloves (recommendation)
- Drink & possibly snack on the go
We would be happy to advise you where you can rent a suitable e-bike and equipment.

What you’ll do in the class
A course includes the following points:
- E-bike check (Does everything work on my e-bike and how can I find out?)
- The correct adjustment of saddle height and cockpit
- Find the basic position on the bike
- balance exercises
- Train braking techniques
- Train curve techniques
- Handling on steep terrain (such as starting and stopping, ascents and descents, etc.)
- Applying what you have learned on a short tour
Who is the class suitable for?
