About this class
During the brewing course in Munich, you will experience first-hand how your own beer is made from four basic ingredients. Under the direction of beer sommelier Liesl and her Braueule Hedwig, you will dive into the history, aromas and craftsmanship of brewing beer. Between theory, stories and lots of practice, we take a break in the nearby tavern — and in the end, you'll take home your almost finished beer. An inspiring experience that delights beer lovers and curious people!

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome & get to know each other with homemade trober bread and spreads
- Tasting selected beers to get you in the mood
- Introduction to raw materials, history and methods of brewing beer
- Active brewing process: mash malt, add hops, transfer seasoning
- Break (approx. 1 h): visit to the Truderinger tavern (food not included)
- Conclusion: Filling the beer wort with yeast — secondary fermentation instructions
- Takeaway: Almost finished beer set & instructions for home
