Class description

Learn how to make a beautiful, functional teapot on the potter's wheel.

Even if you are not interested in making teapots, in this course you will learn a variety of skills, such as: turning and forming
tall cylinders, making handles, lids and a functioning spout, and combining all of this in a leather-hard state to form a harmonious overall shape.

Your wonderful teacher Lisa is a professional in making teapots and wants to share all her knowledge with you.

Attention: This course is only suitable for people with some experience, you must be able to turn a cylinder about 15 cm high and have at least 3 months of experience with the potter's wheel.

(You must be able to create a cylinder of 15cm and have min. 4 month of experience on the wheel.)

The spray-burnt pot can be picked up approx. 2 weeks later.

Optionally, we can glaze for you in the color of your choice for an additional 35€, but you can also glaze your teapot yourself during the open workshop and let it burn in the studio.

Studio Kaolin in a beautiful, cozy studio in Berlin Weissensee with up to 8 seats at the hub. You can work flexibly 5 days a week and there is still capacity for membership.
