About this class
Marius Meyer is an active winemaker with a wide range of commitments. For him, standing still means a step backwards - and as a young winemaker, he still has a lot of plans for the family winery on the southern wine route of the Palatinate. You can literally smell and taste the proximity to the Rhine Graben in the Meyer family's terroir-accentuated wines.
His Palatinate wines are great, sometimes even spectacular, the range is wide: Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, but also some red wines. The style of the wines is straightforward, skilful and convincing. It's really great what Klaus Meyer and son Marius are doing in the vineyard and cellar with a lot of subtle handwork and clever nose!
