Alone, as a couple or with family or colleagues — this hike takes you through the picturesque vineyards on Saalecker Schlossberg or to the new “Terroir F” viewing platform. Your filled backpack not only contains fine wine, but also a delicious snack that you can enjoy on the go. Let yourself be enchanted by nature and the pleasure of wine!
In Hammelburg, we have many hiking trails that lead through the various vineyards. The wine trail (5.8 km) takes you past Saaleck Castle and the Weingut Lange - Schloss Saaleck. There is even a wine and snack house here for refreshments.
The vineyards above the town of Hammelburg lead past very steep vineyards (5.4 km circular route) to the magical village of “Terroir F” with listening stations about the history of Franconian viticulture. You can even make a detour to see the mysterious figures (7.2 km circular route). On the circular trails, there are always benches to relax and unwind.
