Class description
The most delicious team event in the world!
Our workshop, which lasts around 60 to 90 minutes, will make you real chocolate experts!
You'll get a comprehensive introduction to the world of fine chocolate and learn how to really enjoy chocolate. The workshop is interactive, with surveys, quizzes and Q&A sessions, which make the tasting an exciting experience. A certified chocolate expert from Theyo will moderate the event and answer all chocolate-related questions 😊.
You'll discover the origins of chocolate and learn how it is made, what distinguishes fine chocolate from supermarket chocolate and what you should pay attention to when tasting. Techniques for developing aromas are also taught. Promised: After the event, you will not only have a different look at chocolate, but you will also consume it in a completely different way!
How does this activity work?
Organization & procedure of the tasting
- In advance of the tasting, we send the tasting boxes to the (individual) participants.
- The tasting boxes contain either 3 or 5 selected, high-quality and sustainably produced “bean-to-bar” chocolates (complete bars, made with cocoa from different countries of origin), educational tasting materials & a surprise cocoa snack.
- The tasting itself takes place via video conference. When it comes to the conference tool, we focus entirely on you.
- As part of the online tasting, we will give a brief overview of the individual steps in the chocolate manufacturing process before we go on to a joint tasting session. During the tasting, as certified chocolate experts, we provide tips on how to fully develop the taste experience and background information about the individual manufacturers and the corresponding growing regions. We will also shed light on how truly sustainable chocolate differs from industrial chocolate.
- The session is designed for a total of around 75-90 minutes, but can also be designed for a shorter time frame if required.
- On request, the workshop can be held in English & all tasting materials are available in English
