Class description
What can you expect from the painting class for groups in Leipzig?
On an evening or afternoon, you design a poster/art print together in the desired format after selecting a motif.
The starting point is always an art print, such as “The Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh.
You can choose the template together.
The original design is cut into individual parts in advance and each participant receives two of these individual parts as a template.
The task is to “copy” the individual parts onto an identically sized piece of paper, i.e. to interpret them as precisely as possible. One puzzle piece is painted with acrylic paint, the second piece with pastel chalk. Due to the change of technology, it is extremely varied and all participants get to know two ways of artistic expression during the evening.
In the course of the event, so many small pictures (“puzzle pieces”) are created which, when put together, result in the original motif again. The joint work of art is therefore created in a completely new way thanks to the personal signature of all participants.
The focus is on the fun of painting and group dynamics; it is not millimeters that matter, but the overall character!
This idea/task stands metaphorically for successful and successful teamwork... many individual “contributions” and “personalities” lead to a coherent overall result.
Glued together and framed, the team work of art can find a nice place in your premises, in your practice or law firm. A great and long-lasting reminder of a joint event!
Who is the painting course in Leipzig suitable for?
Whether it's a private group, team event or JGA — the painting course is suitable for groups of between 6 and 12 people.
It is expressly not necessary to have any previous artistic knowledge or special skills. It's all about growing and developing something together in a group — with lots of fun.
