Remember your favorite memory or let the power of scent inspire you to create your own unique fragrance for your candle. Maya, the founder of Garden State Candles, crafts her own distinctive scents by blending pure essential oils with fine botanical fragrance oils from France.
Join Maya on a fragrant journey in her candle-making workshop and learn how to create your own scented candle! You will be guided step by step through the candle-making process, discover the benefits of using natural soy wax, learn about the different healing properties of essential oils, and receive tips on blending scents.
After all the ingredients for the candle have been measured and mixed by hand, the soy wax will be allowed to cool and then poured into recyclable glass containers to set. For every candle sold, Garden State donates a portion of the profits to animal shelters around the world. Workshop participants will receive a 10% discount on all candles purchased the same day.
