Über diese Aktivität

Did you know that you can keep the beautiful plant colors in cloth? Just by making a simple bundle you can magically stop the time for the blooms, roots, and leaves.

What can you expect?

You will learn which local plants can be used to get pigments from and how to achieve different visual effects with your bundle. If you are interested in how non-toxic, natural dyes can be applied to the fabric, join Ania from Kaliko in her new studio Exerzierstraße 8 in Wedding.
You will be introduced to the beautiful alchemy of botanical bundling and will leave with your own botanically dyed silk scarf.

This workshop will cover:
-different types of plant pigments and how to use them
- preparing different fabrics for the dyeing process
- how to make plant colors light- and wash fast
- using different bundling techniques to achieve different results

It's a great opportunity to be introduced to the beautiful alchemy of plant dyeing. If you're interested in acquiring more in-depth knowledge, we recommend the "Botanical Dyeing" workshop.

For whom is the bundle dying workshop suitable?

The DIY workshop in Berlin is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about natural dyeing with plants and spend a relaxing time with like-minded people.
