Come to a relaxing hand building class and learn a new craft. I think it's a great way to get in touch with pottery - you can touch the clay at your own pace and learn more about its texture and properties through experimentation and play. You will have plenty of time to be creative and ask questions. We will make sure you have enough time to guide each of you. Uliana will show you the three main techniques (pressing, coiling and slabbing), which can also be combined in the making process. After the introduction, it's time to get started. You can make different things depending on your idea, like a mug, a bowl, a vase, soap dishes - there are so many beautiful possibilities. I will take care of your pieces and fire and glaze them with the color of your choice, or you can book an additional glazing class. Just let me know during the class. You will make 3-5 pieces - each at your own pace! The pots will be fired and glazed and ready for pick up in 4-5 weeks. I will email you when your pottery is ready for pickup or shipping (plus shipping).
