Self-guided city game / scavenger hunt in Frankfurt

Explore Frankfurt while playing the city game ‘The Banker - Beginning of a Dynasty’ directly with your smartphone. Solve puzzles at famous sights, let yourself be whisked away into the story of the Rothschild banker and win the game. • Tickets: You only need 1 ticket per group (1-6 people) and You can hold the event at your desired time. You are not tied to the time specified by the booking.
• You can start whenever you want, even if you have booked a different time or day.
• Each group will play with 1 device. For groups of more than 6 people (maximum 50 people) you can buy 2 or more tickets. 
• You can book in advance or spontaneously. 

Visit the starting point at the Staufenmauer (in the old town centre), open the link from your confirmation email with your smartphone or tablet, log in with your details and start playing immediately. 

You will first be introduced to the history of Banker Rothschild in Frankfurt: 1807 in Frankfurt: The banker Mayer Amschel Rothschild is a hard-working businessman. Not only does he provide entrepreneurs with money - he even carries out financial transactions for the high princes with his family business with the help of his five sons! But Elector Wilhelm I refused to allow Mayer Amschel's son Nathan Mayer to carry out his transactions. What a shame! Now Mayer Amschel must try to get the contract himself. Will you be able to help him?

Work in a team (1-6 people per group) to solve the case. Are there more than 6 of you? Then we recommend splitting up into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not everyone is well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest! 

Use our city map to puzzle your way from station to station along the history trail. Solve the puzzles at the most beautiful sights in Frankfurt and at important points and find out more about the banker Rothschild in Frankfurt. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city game. They are therefore not listed here. You have to look for clues at the stations to solve the puzzles. In this game, the focus is on the story and the puzzles, not on details about the historical history of the sights and the city.

Move at your own pace and take a break whenever you want. The duration is around 2 to 3 hours. The end is near the old town centre of Frankfurt near the Old Opera.
