INTRODUCTION

Josefina Studio is run by a Uruguayan Fashion Designer who provides a diverse range of fashion services, including sewing and upcycling classes, made-to-order clothing, upcycling and costume design, consulting, among others. The studio's mission is to provide personalised and unique pieces, as well as experiences, that go beyond materialism. Through upcycling classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, Josefina aims to showcase the potential in utilising pre-owned or second hand materials, encouraging clients to embrace their own creativity, style, and adopt a circular approach to consumerism.

LOCATION

The studio is a cozy, laid back and inspiring space located by Görlitzer Park, in the heart of Kreuzberg. The studio is thoughtfully equipped with sewing machines and tools for max. 4 people, so that everyone gets personalised attention while they work on what they want to learn.

At Josefina Studio, we are different because of our laid-back and friendly approach to teaching, it feels like you're hanging out with friends while you learn super useful skills. We go with the flow depending on what people bring to work with, and within the workshop's time frame we create cool projects together. After just a few hours, you'll leave with sewing machine skills, look at your wardrobe with a new eye, and the know-how on how to alter pieces. Our small class sizes mean everyone gets personal attention, and it's a great chance to connect with fellow participants – kind of like a creative therapy session!
