Kursbeschreibung

This workshop offers a full practical introduction of the tufting technique through making a cushion cover (for 45 x 45 cm insert) or a small rug (max. 45 x 45 cm) . Previous knowledge is not necessary.

In the workshop you will learn the basic techniques of tufting, using two different guns (Loop pile and Cut pile). These guns create different textures and results.
After a short introduction about tufting guns, we will make designs together.

Designs for tufting can be free like a drawing! You can combine different colours and textures. Please bring just a rough design / image in your head or on paper.

Each participant will produce their own designed cushion surface with tufting, and I will finish the backing after the workshop. Then I will ship your work within a few days.
