About this class
Welcome to my 2-hour Soap Making Class! This workshop is designed for beginners to gain a thorough introduction to soap making, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice.
Join my class and dive into the art of soap making! You'll learn the fundamentals of soap creation using gentle and bubbly premium oils like Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Castor Oil and other oils. Customize your soap with your favorite essential oils, choose whether to add exfoliants and pick your preferred color or leave it completely natural without scent or colors.
You'll take home the whole batch of around 800 grams of personalized soap at the end of the class, which you can cut the next day.
This beginner-friendly workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill and make something truly unique. Don't miss out on this fun and creative experience!

What you’ll do in the class
Our 2-hour Soap Making Class is designed to provide a hands-on and informative experience for beginners. Here’s how the workshop is structured:
Introduction and Safety (15 minutes)
- Welcome and course overview
- Importance of safety gear (gloves, goggles, long sleeves)
- Safe handling of lye and ventilation tips
Theory and Ingredients (15 minutes)
- Basic chemistry of soap making: saponification and the role of lye
- Overview of ingredients: oils, lye, water, and optional additives
Hands-On Soap Making (60 minutes)
- Step-by-step guidance on making soap:
- Mixing oils and lye solution
- Incorporating additives and achieving trace
- Pouring into molds and initial curing instructions
Cutting and Curing (15 minutes)
- Demonstrating how to cut soap into bars
- Importance of curing for soap quality and hardness
- Troubleshooting common issues during curing
Advanced Techniques and Q&A (15 minutes)
- Introduction to advanced techniques like adding colors and fragrances
- Creative design tips and encouragement for experimentation
- Open Q&A session for participant inquiries
